Even though I am enrolled in an online BSc program, IIT Guwahati is known for having excellent infrastructure among Indian institutes. The campus has modern academic buildings, well-equipped laboratories, advanced research centers, and a huge central library with access to both physical and digital resources. For online students, most learning happens through well-designed digital platforms, recorded lectures, and online portals, which are smooth and reliable. The on-campus facilities like smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, sports complexes, hostels, and dining halls are reported to be well maintained for regular students. The campus environment is clean, spacious, and scenic, which adds to the overall experience. There isn't a formal internal upgrade process at IIT Guwahati after all COAP rounds for changing branches.
COAP (Committee on Applied Sciences Programs) is a centralized allotment system ensuring transparency and fairness. Once you have accepted and frozen your seat, it's unlikely to be reopened for internal upgradation.

Considering you are having obc-ncl category then I would suggest that you do have chances to get into IIT Guwahati. However there are certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.
