Amount

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students

Passed class 12th and obtained at least 80 percentile.

Must be pursuing a regular course from a recognised university.

Rs.10,000 per annum at graduation level for the first three years of college and university courses 

Rs. 20,000 per annum at the post-graduate level. 

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses

Secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination.

The annual income of parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakhs.

Rs. 20,000 per annum

Rs. 1,000 a day for hostellers and Rs. 500 for day scholars

Ishan Uday - Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region

Students who are domiciles of NER who have secured admission into a first-year degree course.

Family income is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum

Rs. 5,400 per month

PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child

Girl student who has taken admission into the first year of a PG course.

Age limit - 30 years

Rs. 36,200 per annum

PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders (First and Second Rank Holders)

A student who has taken admission into the first year of a PG course.

Age limit - 30 years

First or second university rank holders in UG level examination.

Rs. 3,100 per month
