JNU offers a number of scholarships and fellowships to its students. Some of the JNU fellowships are offered through UGC-CSIR Junior Research Fellowships, UGC-Scholarships and Fellowships, State Government Fellowships. JNU scholarships and fellowships are either offered to felicitate the meritorious students or to help the students who belong to the economically weaker sections of society. Some of the scholarships offered by Jawaharlal Nehru University are Merit-cum-means Scholarships, the G Parthasarathi Endowment Fellowship, Jawahar Bhawan Trust Scholarship, Special Fellowships for SC/ST and PH students, and others. Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi admissions are available for diploma, undergrdauate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Jawaharlal Nehru University admissions are offered to eligible candidates based in the merit of entrance examination. For JNU admission, candidates are required to appear for the CUET-UG entrance examination for undergraduate courses, the CUET-PG entrance examination for PG courses and the entrance examination conducted by the university for the PhD course. Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi considers UCEED scores for admissions.
JNU Delhi admission to the B.Tech programmes is through JEE Main score and JoSAA counselling. The JNU admissions to the MCA programme are done based on the merits of the CBT exam conducted by the university. Candidates can apply for courses at JNU Delhi through the official website of the admission portal of the university. Candidates have to fill out the application form and submit it along with the application fees through the university’s official website.
To log into the student portal, candidates must visit the student portal website: jnu.ac.in/user/login. After that, candidates must enter their username, and their password and click on ‘Login’. JNU Delhi Login portal includes academic details, fees, admission status and many other details.
The university offers a total of 14 courses at the undergraduate level. JNU Delhi UG courses are B.A. Hons and B.Tech-M.Tech Integrated programmes. The duration of these courses ranges from 3 to 5 years. Admission to JNU Delhi B.Tech courses is based on JEE Main scores and JoSAA counselling.

The university offers a total of 65 courses at the doctoral level which includes the PhD courses in different specialisations. The duration of these courses is 3 to 6 years. JNU PhD admissions are based on the entrance examination conducted by the NTA.

The university conducts counselling sessions for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates must fill out the online application form. Seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and cutoff marks criteria. For JNU Delhi B.Tech admission, candidates must apply for the JoSSA counselling. The counselling will be held in online mode. The counselling session will comprise seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

The students can predict their college admissions based on caste, gender and percentage.
The campus is large and green with a strong library and good academic facilities. Hostel quality is mixed, with older ones needing renovation. It has a separate environment from the rush of city and feels like a free environment.
Jawaharlal Nehru College has a great infrastructure they have many auditorium something 6 to 7 every department there own auditorium and they provides bus facilities to students and staff also and wifi facilities are provided
JNU offers decent academic infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a central library, language labs, and good internet connectivity. While some buildings feel old, greenery and open spaces make it pleasant. For BA French, the School of Language facilities are well-equipped, fostering a comfortable learning environment. Maintenance could be more consistent in hostels.
