Kurukshetra University admissions are offered based on the student’s performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university followed by counselling procedure. For Kurukshetra University admissions to the M.Tech programme, GATE scores are considered. Students who want to be admitted to B.Tech at Kurukshetra University must note that the admissions are offered based on JEE Main scores. For KU Kurukshetra admissions to B.P.Ed./B. Pharma, the students with merit scores are considered.

Programmes, such as B.F.A. and B.A., are granted based on performance in the qualifying examination and are offered KUK Kurukshetra admission.

The Kurukshetra University admission is offered to some programmes, including M.A., M.Com, M.PEd, and L.L.M., based on how well applicants performed in the entrance exam. This is followed by centralised counselling. GATE scores are used to determine admission to M.Tech programmes. Candidates must take the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be considered for admission to the M.B.A. programme.
