Eligibility Criteria

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST* or JEE Main. or CUET.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.

(5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

College Infrastructure

The college's infrastructure is impressive to behold, with well-equipped classrooms featuring Wi-Fi, projectors, and air conditioning, and a spacious library stocked with essential resources for every student. A shopping mall, multiple food courts, a gym and a swimming pool add convenience and recreation, while hostel rooms offer ample options and comfort. The mess though, could be better.

College Infrastructure

As a student of Lovely Professional University, I can confidently say that the infrastructure is one of the strongest aspects of the university and has a direct positive impact on daily academic and campus life. The campus is extremely large and well planned. Initially, it takes some time to get used to the size, but once familiar, movement becomes smooth due to proper roads, signboards, and internal transport facilities. The academic blocks are modern and spacious, with smart classrooms that include projectors, digital boards, and comfortable seating, which makes learning more interactive. Laboratories are well equipped, especially for engineering and computer science courses. Most labs have updated systems, required software, and proper internet connectivity, which helps in practical learning and project work. The central library is another major highlight. It provides a quiet study environment, a wide collection of books, and access to digital resources and journals, which is very useful during exams and assignments. Hostel infrastructure is good and meets student needs. Rooms are decent, with options ranging from basic to premium accommodations. Facilities like Wi-Fi, laundry, common rooms, and regular maintenance make hostel life comfortable. Security is also strict, which ensures safety, especially at night. Sports and recreational infrastructure is excellent. The university has large playgrounds, indoor sports complexes, gyms, and stadiums that encourage students to actively participate in sports and fitness activities. Apart from academics, this helps maintain a balanced lifestyle. The campus also has strong support infrastructure such as a hospital, food courts, supermarkets, banks, ATMs, and stationery shops, making it almost self-sufficient. Internet connectivity across the campus is reliable, which is essential for online learning and research. Overall, based on my personal experience, the infrastructure at Lovely Professional University provides a professional and comfortable environment for students. It supports academic growth, skill development, and campus life effectively, making the learning experience better and more disciplined.
