NIFTEM-T Scholarship
The National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Thanjavur offers many state and national level scholarships for students belonging to the socially backward classes of the society and candidates who fall below the annual income bar. The MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India offers many scholarships to the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category students. Scholarships like Post Matric scholarships, Top Class Education Scholarships, Scholarships for SC students and Scholarships for Single Girl Child are conferred upon the eligible students. The students have to register themselves on the national scholarship portal to avail these scholarships. NIFTEM Thanjavur scholarships not only help the students financially but also allow them to perform better in academics as most of the scholarships require the student to maintain a constant CGPA throughout the course to access the benefit of fee concession.
Many institute-level scholarships are also offered to the students if the students prove the established eligibility criteria. Merit-based scholarships are awarded to M.Tech. and Ph.D students who have scored the highest marks in the GATE entrance examination and who have secured an OGPA of 8.0.

NIFTEM has commenced the B.Tech registration online. The authority updated the link for the registration of NIFTEM 2025 is available on the website, admission.niftem.ac.in. Moreover, a direct link is provided on this page for the NIFTEM application form 2025.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for NIFTEM admission 2024 before filling out the application. No application will be accepted after the last date for the NIFTEM application form.The authority will not conduct entrance examination for NIFTEM 2024 admission and final selection will be based on JEE Main scores.
Candidates will be offered admission through the JoSAA 2024 / CSAB 2025. Through NIFTEM admission 2024, candidates will be offered admission to the B.Tech course of Food Technology and Management (FTM). NIFTEM Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for NIFTEM admission 2025 before filling out the application form. Details regarding the conditions and requirements that have to be met by the candidates are listed in the NIFTEM 2024 eligibility criteria. The inability to fulfil the listed NIFTEM eligibility criteria for 2025 will lead to the disqualification of the candidates from the allotment process.
Candidates willing to get admission in B.Tech courses through NIFTEM admission 2024 must fulfil the eligibility criteria-
Candidates should have secured a qualifying score in JEE Main.
Candidates should have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. Those who are appearing for the examination in 2024 will also be eligible.
Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks should have been secured in all of the subjects.
Candidates who get a compartment in the 10+2 examination will not be eligible for admission even if they clear the same (by appearing in the supplementary examination) before the reporting/counselling dates.

NIFTEM Admissions 2025
The National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Management, Thanjavur offers one undergraduate course, three postgraduate courses, and two doctoral programmes to the students. Admission to undergraduate courses such as B.Tech is based on JEE Main exam.

NIFTEM B.Tech Admission Procedure 2025
Since no entrance examination will be conducted, NIFTEM admission 2024 will be made based on JEE Main 2024 scores. Candidates will have to participate in the counselling of JoSAA 2024. Selection will be done per the ranks secured by the candidates in JEE Main 2024.
All of the candidates will have to register for JoSAA 2024.
After allotment through JoSAA 2024, candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fee.
The remaining fee has to be paid through the SBI collect portal of NIFTEM admission 2024.
If candidates fail to pay the required fee before the final date then they will be disqualified and their seat will be forfeited.
Selected candidates will have to report to the institute for document verification and confirmation of admission.
NIFTEM Admission Process: M.Tech/Ph.D
Candidates applying to the courses must meet the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Thanjavur eligibility criteria for the desired course.
Shortlisted candidates should attend the counselling session.
The NIFTEM admissions are done based on the scores obtained in based on a merit basis.

College Infrastructure
This institute has 6 departments involving 2 centres of excellence. The college is a collaboration of academics with classrooms equipped with smart boards and recreational activities like sports. The laboratory facilities are good. The hostels are maintained well and equipped with WiFi 24/7.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure and facilities provided by college are top level. Which contains auditorium, seminar halls, hostels and accommodation facilities for parents also. Also there is a gym and various courts for playing various games including volleyball, tennis, badminton etc. Hostel is compulsory for all and mess is included in hostels. The quality of mess food is also good.
