As per the NIRF 2024 report, around 30 students from the BA LLB course got placed with a median salary of Rs 15 lakhs while 28 students from the postgraduate course have been placed. NUALS Kochi has a placement cell that helps in the placement of final-year candidates. NUALS Kochi Placement cell conducts various pre-placement training like workshops, seminars, guest lectures, industrial visits, group discussions, mock interviews, soft-skills training, and many more to make the students’ placement ready.

For NLU Kochi placement cell invites companies to its campus for recruitment of the candidates. The institute follows a placement process for smooth conduction of the placement. The institute also provides a separate placement infrastructure to assist in the final interview process. The placement cell of NUALS Kochi also provides internship assistance to the candidates.

NUALS Kochi Placement Process 2024

NUALS Kochi placement cell sends invitations to the companies.
Interested recruiters contact the placement cell with requisite company details, job profiles, compensation, etc.
The details are communicated to the students.
Interested students register with the placement cell.
With mutual consent, dates for pre-placement talk and final placement are decided.
On the final placement day, the companies screen the candidates based on written tests group discussions and /or personal interviews.
Selected candidates are informed about their selection through the placement cell.

Placements

Placements have recently begun, and 5 students got placed in the last two months. Top recruiting companies of our college are ICICI Bank, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Federal Bank. Top roles offered to the students are legal advisory, executive partner, drafting head and legal secretary. The average salary package offered is 8-9 LPA. I am not sure about internships.
