The University has a central library having more than 90000 textbooks, 10000 reference books, and 350 Ph.D. theses. Students, research scholars, and teachers use these materials in their calm, comforting, and serene atmosphere. With the introduction of a fully operational INFLIBNET facility (connected through a dedicated lease line to INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmadabad) the utility of the central library has increased much fold. Several thousand e-journals are thus made available which will immensely help research scholars, students, and teachers. As far as extending this facility to other units is concerned this will act as a central hub. Connectivity has already been extended to Ranchi College and very soon all university departments and ASC will have this facility. Considering its importance its working hour has been extended to 8 pm.

Institute of legal studies have a great infrastructure with the best facilities provided The infrastructure includes moot court, library, auditorium, spacious classes and many more necessary departments.

College Infrastructure

The campus is located in a busy part of Ranchi. The campus is very large and has basic amenities, but the overall infrastructure is not good, as the classrooms are not modernized. There is a lack of care. Labs and Libraries are outdated.

College Infrastructure

The buildings of our hostel are very nice, and this year, renovation work is also underway. So, it will improve the look and interior of the hostel too. There is availability of Wi-Fi, a volleyball playground, a common room for watching television, and playing table tennis. The food here is not quite good, but our hostel, HJB hostel, is quite spacious. In our college, only 1st-year students live two in a single room; otherwise, all the students live in single rooms.
