The syllabus of Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is mostly updated to current industry standards. We are learning relevant languages and frameworks. Some of the professors are truly excellent and have a deep understanding of their subjects. Some other faculty members rely too much on old notes and lack teaching skills which is a negative point.

The campus of my college is very new, which is a huge benefit. The buildings are modern and well-maintained. Our labs have new hardware and software installed. Other facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, good internet connection and an useful library is also provided.

The campus is very active. There are many clubs, especially technical ones like the competitive coding group and the open-source community. They host regular workshops and events. The student crowd is energetic and easy to mingle with.

Since, I am only in second year, this is based on the feedbacks I have got from the seniors. Official placement data looks good, with major companies visiting, but the highest packages are scarce. The highest salary is moderate and one needs to have a very good academic performance to be eligible for top roles.

The tuition fee is definitely on the higher side. I have to pay a premium for the new infrastructure and modern facilities. Comparing the high fee structure to the current average placement scenario, it feels slightly misaligned.

Our college faculty are very knowledgeable ,supportive ,industry’s experts. Our course structure curriculum is generally considered well structured course are designed to make students industry ready for practical and project work

Sister Nivedita university are generally well regarded for infrastructure students has specialist classrooms and well maintained library the campus has basketball court a garden and a gym the university is WiFi enabled

Placement review are varied some students have reported a high placement percentage with one review claiming 85 percent of students of the BBA batch in 2023 like top MNC companies.it seems that placement success can depend on different courses

The academic structure at Sister Nivedita University is well-organized and industry-oriented. As a B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology student, I found the syllabus to be regularly updated with a good mix of theory and practicals. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and many of them have research backgrounds. They use both traditional teaching methods and digital tools like smart boards and presentations, which help in better understanding. There are regular class tests, assignments, and lab work that keep students engaged. Seminars, workshops, and guest lectures by professionals are also arranged frequently, which really add value to the learning process. Internal assessments are fair and transparent. Overall, the academic environment is disciplined yet supportive, which helps in building strong subject knowledge.

As a B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology student from the 2023 batch, I can say that Sister Nivedita University has well-developed infrastructure. Our classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards that make lectures more interactive. The laboratories are well-maintained with all the necessary instruments for microbiology practicals, including autoclaves, incubators, laminar flow chambers, and microscopes. The library is digital-friendly with access to a large collection of books and online journals. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There are dedicated study zones, clean washrooms, and common rooms. The hostel is safe, has decent food, and basic amenities. Sports facilities include a basketball court and indoor games. Overall, the campus provides a good learning environment and supports both academics and extracurricular activities.

Placement opportunities at Sister Nivedita University are decent, especially for students from technical and management backgrounds. For B.Sc. (Hons.) Microbiology students like us, core placements are limited but the university does provide support through career guidance, resume-building sessions, and mock interviews. Companies from pharma, biotech, and healthcare sectors do visit, and some students get internships that later convert into full-time offers. Apart from domain-specific roles, students are also allowed to sit for jobs in EdTech, customer support, and research assistance roles. The placement cell is active and tries to connect students with off-campus opportunities too. With the right effort and academic performance, students can make good use of the available resources.
