24 Months- Master of Science (MSc) in Zoology is a full-time two years duration postgraduate course and it is offered by The University of North Bengal, Siliguri.
- The Department of Zoology, University of North Bengal was established in 1984. The Department has seven faculty members and 9 secretarial and laboratory personnel. The Department has earned high accolades with the awards of DST-FIST and UGC-SAP supports apart from independent research projects sponsored by almost all funding of authorities of Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Candidate must be Honours graduates [10+2+3 system] in Zoology may be considered for admission to Master in Zoology in any recognized University/college.
- The candidates with Honours Degree [10+2+3 system] in the respective subject from a recognized University shall be eligible to apply for admission to M.Sc courses. Candidates who have passed UG examination three years earlier or more before the year of admission shall not be eligible for admission to M.Sc Courses (e.g., the candidate passing UG examination in 2015 or before shall not be eligible for admission.
Admission Details
Selection of the Candidates of the University of North Bengal shall be made according to the strictly on merit basis in obtained marks in the qualifying Examination.
