CIPET Lucknow's training and placement cell invites various organisations for on-campus recruiting for the final year students. Every year, a large number of multinational and national companies come to the CIPET Lucknow campus to meet their demand for highly qualified personnel. Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology placement cell organises numerous training sessions for students and ensures that placement activities go properly. The cell also offers students career counselling in order to assist students in making career-related decisions. Through the skill enhancement programme, the cell aids in the entire personality development of the students.

The Placement Process: Students in their last year of studies who wish to participate in the on-campus placement drive must first register. Students are given career counselling sessions by the placement cell as soon as they register, so that they are informed of their alternatives. Students gain confidence for the recruitment process through training programmes such as mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills training.

The placement is very good. The placement process is easy and pleasant. The highest package offered by university is 8LPA. The average package offered by university is 3LPA. In my college more than 70% students were selected.

The CPET Lucknow is verygood, especially for plastic engineering students. The average salary package offered is ranged between 2.4 LPA to 3.60 LPA, and this is what you can expect from CIPET. It's not that good for manufacturing. Plastic engineering as compare to manufacturing engineering have more scope
