COAET Ludhiana Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

COAET Ludhiana Admissions: A total of 3 programmes in 9 disciplines are offered by College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Apart from these UG and PG programmes, the college also offers Ph.D programme in 4 disciplines. To secure admission in the undergraduate programme, candidates will need to appear in Common Entrance Test (CET). For admission in the postgraduate programmes of COAET Ludhiana, candidates will need to appear in Master’s Entrance Test (MET) for their respective disciplines, however there is no entrance test to take admission in MCA Programme and M.Tech Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System. For admission in the Ph.D programme at COAET Ludhiana, the candidates will need to clear Ph.D Entrance Test (PET) for the respective disciplines. Post entrance, candidates will need to appear in the counselling/interview or any other drill which will be communicated to them by COAET, Ludhiana.

The college offers B.Tech Agricultural Engineering at the undergraduate level to the students. To secure a seat, candidates are required to appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET) and after that, they will need to appear in the counselling, conducted by COAET, Ludhiana.

• Candidates will first need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

• Apply for the CET examination and appear for the same. 

• They will need to fill out the COAET Ludhiana form through the college official website. 

• Merit/rank will be prepared and candidates will be called to appear in the counselling session. 

• Caniddates should get their documents verified and pay the required fees.

The college, at the postgraduate level, offers M.Tech Processing and Food Engineering, M.Tech Soil and Water Engineering, M.Tech Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System, M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech Civil Engineering and M.Tech Farm Machinery and Power Engineering. COAET Ludhiana also offers Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme with a lateral entry option as well. To take admission in these programmes, candidates will need to appear in the Master's Entrance Test (MET) for the respective disciplines. 

They will need to appear in the following entrance tests, according to the discipline they want to choose. 

• MET-CE for M.Tech Civil Engineering. 

• MET-CSE for M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering. 

• MET-AE for M.Tech Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, M.Tech Processing and Food Engineering and M.Tech Soil and Water Engineering.

Candidates are not required to appear in any entrance examination for an MCA programme and M.Tech Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System.

COAET Ludhiana M.Tech/MCA Selection Process

• Candidates will need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

• Apply for the MET-CSE/CE/AE examination according to the discipline they want to choose and appear for the same. 

• Candidates  will need to fill out the COAET Ludhiana form through the official website of the college.  

• Merit/rank will be prepared and candidates will be called to appear in the counselling session of COAET Ludhiana. 

• Candidates will get their documents verified and pay the required fees.

The college, at the Ph.D level, offers Ph.D Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Ph.D Energy Science and Technology, Ph.D Soil and Water Engineering and Ph.D Processing and Food Engineering. To take admission in these programmes, candidates will need to appear in the Ph.D Entrance Test (PET) for the respective disciplines. 

They will need to appear in the following entrance tests, according to the discipline they want to choose. 

• PET-AE for Ph.D Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Ph.D Soil and Water Engineering and Ph.D Processing and Food Engineering.

COAET Ludhiana Ph.D Selection Process

• Candidates will need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

• Apply for the PET-AE examination according to the discipline they want to choose and appear for the same. 

• Candidates  will need to fill out the COAET Ludhiana form through the official website of the college.  

• Merit/rank will be prepared and candidates will be called to appear in the counselling session and an interview (if any) at COAET Ludhiana. 

• Candidates must get their documents verified and pay the required fees.

For UG, PG and Ph.D level programmes, candidates will be required to appear in the respective entrance examinations, except two courses mentioned above and following that, they will need to appear in the counselling session, conducted by COAET, Ludhiana.
