    Academics

Now I am persuing mbbs in this college.. The established 2019 and from then the students maintain a great rankings.. After the medical colleges of Kolkata it's the first preference of choice due to it's academics and location.. The college is upto date according to new MCI curriculum ..the professors are well educated and very much helpful and punctual.. Our laboratory equipments are also new and those maintain properly. Clinical department are more than sufficient though less beded hospital.

    College Infra

Yes my college have almost all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments.. Actually in west bengal this is one of the largest medical college. It has centralised AC and sitting arrangements of approximately 150-200 with recent edition books.classrooms have centralised AC facilities. we have a large hostel area with 4 buildings for students and another 2buildins for interns and teachers.and college premises also clean more or less.It also has a large anatomy building with dissection hall

    Campus Life

College is situated in a very good atmosphere of Kalyani.. it's nice .. have so many different buildings like administrative, academic, with hospital and night shelters.. Also the hostel campus is very much beautiful and clean.. There is also aquagaurd in college building and hostels..all round the year students are engaged in various cultural programmes, sports academic events, quizzes international conferences etc.. also a friendly behavior with seniors.

    Placements

Almost every student more or less well settled as MOs or JR or SR.. selection rate in neet pg is also very good with AIIMS pg rank 2 and neet pg rank under 500 and PGI chandigarh.. Some are also preparing for USMLE.. also hospital offers housestaffship to all passed candidates on a merit basis.. Also we have some students among us who achieve 15 to 17 honours in university proff.

    Value For Money

Though it's a government college the course fee is far less than any other private medical college in india.. But due to under direct control of health University it has little more fees than other medical colleges.. Tuition fee is approximately 9000 per year. And hostel charge 1200 for a year.. Labs are also good with 1to 1 equipments..there are no other cost that college demand. So I am getting my money's worth..

    Academics

The faculty is more or less upto the mark, however some departments like Anatomy and physiology need more updated faculties. There is still a dearth of proper seminars and updation of department libraries which is actually in progress. The quality of teaching, punctuality of classes and practical training is excellent till paraclinical years. However being a relatively less bedded hospital, clinical departments need more facilities and variety of cases, however there is no lacuna in training.

    College Infra

The college is relatively a new college,so has a good infrastructure as compared to other government colleges. It has a separate Anatomy building with an excellent state of the art dissection hall and an academic building for the paraclinical departments and other preclinicals. The administrative building has the central library and canteen with wifi and internet facility in the library. The lacunae include more access to standard and recent edition books, requirement of a proper common room.

    Campus Life

The college is beautiful , situated in a green city kalyani. The campus has beautiful buildings and adjoining is the hospital and the night shelter. There are 3 hostels in the hostel campus- girl's hostel, 2 boy's hostel, intern and Pgt hostels. There are staff quarters and big ground where football and cricket matches sre being played. All round the year, students engage in various sports competitions, cultural fiestas including fest and academic evrnts like quiz etc. Overall it's great.

    Placements

Many interns are working as MOs at various hospitals. Selection rate in Post graduate entrances are very good including top ranks like AIIMS PG rank 2 and NEET ranks AIR under 300. The hospital offers housestaffship to all passed candidates on a merit basis.

    Value For Money

This is a government college. The tuition fees is 750 per month and hostel charges 100 per month. Hostels are quite good and clean with respect to other government hostels, lecture theatres and library are all air conditioned. Labs are all good with 1 to 1 equipment facility. There are no other costs that college demands except your personal expenses and books
