GEC Goa Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides Hostel facility to the Boys students. The Hostel Rooms are well ventilated and are well furnished with Study Table, Chair, Bed, Bookshelf and Wardrobe. Geyser, Internet, Drinking Water, Parking and Mess facilities are available in the Boys Hostel. The Common Room in the Boys Hostel has facilities for TV, Carrom and Table Tennis for the students.

Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi provides Hostel facility to the Girls students. The Hostel Rooms are well furnished with Bed, Table, Chair, Wardrobe and Bookshelf. The Common Room has facilities for Television, Carrom and Table Tennis. Geyser facility, Drinking Water facility, round the clock security and a Mess facility are also available in the Girls Hostel.  

Goa College of Engineering has a Gymnasium which is equipped with modern exercise equipment and machines. 

The college has a fully Computerised Library which has a rich collection of Books, Magazines, Periodicals and Journals. The Library can accommodate approximately 300 people in the Reference and the Reading Room section. The college Library also has a Multimedia Section. A Book Bank facility is also available for the underprivileged students. Reprographic facility and Barcode facility are also available in the college Library.   

GEC Goa provides various indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities to the students in the college campus. The college has Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Basketball Court and Badminton Court in the college campus. 

GCE Goa has a good IT Infrastructure. The entire campus is connected by the fibre optic network providing EPABX and Internet connectivity through 1 Gbps and 140 Mbps leased lines. The college has a Computer Centre which has approximately 100 Computers. 

The college has a Canteen which serves healthy and nutritious snacks and food to the students at reasonable prices. 

GEC Goa has a Seminar Hall where a number of formal and informal events of the college take place throughout the year. 

The college provides Transport facilities to the students and the staff members and helps them to commute from one place to another place. 

Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi has a number of departmental Laboratories which are equipped with sophisticated tools and equipment. 

The college has a Co- Operative Society which caters to the needs of staff members and the students. 

A full fledged Bank Branch and an ATM facility is functioning in the campus of Goa College of Engineering for the staff members and the students.

The college has a Reception Area for the Visiting faculty and the Visitors. The Reception area is well equipped with all the basic facilities.

The college has a First Aid Room which provides minor medical treatment to the students. An Ambulance service is also available in the college. An On campus mental health counselling facility is available at the Counselling Centre.
