The Training and Placement Cell of Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi handles all the Placement related activities on the campus. The Goa College of Engineering Farmagudi placement cell bridges the gap between Companies and the students. According to the Data released by the NIRF for the batch of 2023, out of 487 UG students at GCE Goa who graduated within the minimum stipulated time, 232 students got placed with the median salary of Rs. 6,25,000 per annum.

Placements

An average LPA of 8 and a placement rate of about 70%, placements are respectable, particularly for CS students. With an average of 5 LPA, core branches face difficulties. Internships are available through the placement cell, but the majority are in sales and not appropriate for core fields. The highest package reached 48 LPA.

I still remenber the nerves and excitement .Around 100% placements were offered to eligible students and I was trilled to see the offers going as high as 24lpa and average salary of about 10-12lpa, which was really impressive

Yes,it is possible to transfer directly to 2nd year at MSRIT of you have completed your first year. You might need to pay the full fees of four years engineering at your current college, if your college demands so and you also need to have influential contacts to change
