Academics
When it comes to academics, I’d say they’re just okay. The courses are quite outdated, and the teaching methods aren’t very interesting. There’s definitely room for improvement, especially if they could focus more on practical, hands-on learning.
College Infra
To be honest, the infrastructure at Government College Dharamshala isn’t great. The facilities are pretty basic, and the classrooms and labs could definitely use some improvements. The campus feels like it needs more care and investment to make it better for students.
Campus Life
Campus life is one of the better parts of Government College Dharamshala. There are various clubs and activities to join, which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. Plus, the beautiful surroundings add a nice touch to everyday life on campus.
Placements
Placement opportunities here are pretty average. While some students do get jobs through campus placements, the overall success rate isn’t very high. The college could do more to bring in a wider range of companies and improve the placement process.
Value For Money
One thing that stands out for me is the value for money. The fees are really low, making it a very affordable option for students. If you’re on a budget, this college gives you a decent education without costing too much.

Unfortunately, the academics at the college are not very strong. The syllabus is outdated, and there isn’t much focus on practical learning. The teaching methods could be more interesting, as many students find it hard to keep up with the lessons. This is an area where the college needs to improve a lot.

Government College Dharamshala is below average. The facilities are basic, and while there are classrooms and a library, they could be better maintained and equipped. The labs are old, and the overall campus could use more improvement in its physical resources.

Academics
The academics are okay but not great. The teachers are knowledgeable, but the way they teach is old-fashioned and not very interesting. There isn’t much practical learning, which is important for a B.Com course.
College Infra
The college's infrastructure is not very good. The classrooms are old and not well-maintained. The library is small and doesn’t have many books. The campus lacks modern facilities that students expect nowadays.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite dull. There are only a few activities, and the college doesn’t have many clubs or groups for students to join. The social life is not very active, and the campus feels quiet most of the time
Placements
The placement opportunities are very limited. There aren’t many companies that come to the campus to hire students, so most students have to find jobs on their own after finishing the course. The college doesn’t have a strong placement cell, which is a big problem.
Value For Money
The fees are low, but the quality of education and facilities reflects that. Even though it’s affordable, you don’t get much in return. And the facilities are also not that great with that fees structure.

Yes, the Government College, Dharamshala offers Bachelors of Science in Mathematics course.
Eligibility : passed 10+2 examination , conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education or any other equivalent examination. The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with science stream shall be given preference in admission
