Academics
GECA offers autonomous academic programs with regularly updated curricula (revised every few years), designed to be relevant to industry requirements.
Some students feel the curriculum still leans toward traditional theoretical learning with less practical/industry-oriented exposure, especially in some branches.
College Infra
GECA has a decent-sized campus with multiple academic buildings, separate department blocks, labs, a library, an auditorium, and sports grounds. Classrooms are generally spacious and well-lit, and there are facilities like projectors and Wi-Fi connectivity in many academic areas.
Campus Life
GECA’s campus life combines a balanced college experience — with strong community feel, healthy social activities, good sports options, and a generally safe, green campus — though some aspects like food quality or club breadth depend on individual batches and student involvement.
Placements
Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad offers a decent and improving placement record, particularly for core streams, with a good number of recruiters and average packages around ₹5–6 LPA. Good collage for campus and studies overall experience good
Academics
The course I am doing is MCA and college provides the basic needs the teaching is good not great and they lag to much in providing placements and they take lab seriously and hey explain after lecture if not get the point

Good infrastructure with full of plants and various bulidings regarding various fields .A campus with no noise pollution near it a dream campus you can have college has all the basic needs such as classroom, laboratories etc providing an good environment to students to study

Overall good campus life various activities are taken and big campus
Placements
Provides placement but not to everyone and everyone does not get to express themselves in interview as low placement rates but does provide basic placement needs. About 25% to 50% students are placed
Value For Money
As I said good teachers lag a bit in placements but provides scholarship to students and fees is less in comparison with a great campus it is sum what value for money

I am studying computer science in GCEA . All the teachers are well-qualified and experienced in teaching. They all are helpful to us in understanding the topics. They have good knowledge. Teachers prepare us well for everything. Papers are not difficult
College Infra
College campus is very good. There are many facilities like a neat and clean mess, etc. The food served is good. Hostel rooms are good. The management of the hostel rooms is great. Bathrooms are always clean, and the gallery is also neat. Computer labs are also good .
Campus Life
Excellent college campus and campus life.
Placements
Placements at GCEA are very good . The highest package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. After 1 year, students can get higher packages. Almost 30% of students got internships from our course .
Value For Money
High quality education for moderate fees.

Hi Aspirant,
The placement of both the colleges is not that great.However VESIT provides placements in comparison to GECA to some greater extent.Almost 60 percent of students get placed in IT companies and only 10-12 percent in core companies.. Accenture is the top recruiter of the college followed by Capgemini
