Government Engineering College, Bhuj (GEC Bhuj), is a premiere institute established in the year 1994 under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has been involved in the preparation of future engineers for close to three decades. Situated in the open, sprawling campus of 56.24 acres, the college provides a supporting learning and growing environment. This college offers a congenial student-teacher ratio, with 1,211 students under 29 faculties.

GEC Bhuj boasts a state-of-the-art infrastructure that is conductive to developing an overall personality in a student. The college has separate laboratories for respective departments that are well-equipped and allow students to practice in different fields of engineering. The library is a knowledge pool with an enriched collection of books, journals, and digital resources. The institute offers various engineering programs. There are six courses for Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) and two courses for Master of Technology (M. Tech). All the eight courses are full-time regular courses giving knowledge and gaining experiences in various engineering disciplines. The total intake that has all the courses combined has 336 seats, which gives ample opportunity for students who wish to be engineers.
