    Government Engineering College, Idukki admissions are offered for UG and PG courses. GEC Idukki admissions are offered to five B.Tech programmes and four M.Tech programmes.     GEC Idukki B.Tech Admission Procedure

    • First, candidates have to apply and appear for the entrance exam- KEAM and obtain a valid score in it.
    • Then the KEAM cut-off is released and an equal weightage of 50:50 is given to KEAM scores and the marks for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry together in twelfth grade.
    • Candidates must appear for the KEAM counselling process.
    • Candidates have to opt for choice filling and choice locking during the counselling process.
    • Candidates should choose GEC Idukki as their desired college during the choice filling.
    • Final admission is offered after verification of documents and course fee payment.

    • Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- GATE and have a valid score.
    • The admission process is conducted by the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala.
    • Later, the cut-off is released and further candidates need to participate in the Kerala M.Tech counselling process.
    • Candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam- GATE.
    • Eligible candidates have to pay the course fees and get their documents verified for final admission.
