Well I don't have any prior experience, but my college ranks one of the best colleges when it comes to placement. Especially in my field of interest that is Computer Science almost everyone gets placed so placement hike is more than 98 percentage. Well I am not sure of the average packages but the latest buzz was that two of my seniors from CS department was offered 50LPA .

Every year, our college achieves 90% placements for all the students, with an average of more than 6 LPA. The highest package this year was 31.6 lakh CTC offered by Google.
