IMI Kolkata Admission Process
International Management Institute (IMI), Kolkata offers admission to PGDM and FPM programmes. Candidates should make sure to meet the eligibility criteria in order to get admission to IMI Kolkata. Candidates who apply online for IMI Kolkata admission into PGDM will be shortlisted on the basis of entrance exam scores and academic performance. IMI Kolkata admission to the PGDM programme is done on the basis of candidates' performance in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT and academic records.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the final stage of the selection process which includes the individual assessment and individual assessment process (personal interview). IMI Kolkata admission to the FPM programme is done based on the candidates’ research proposal and evaluation of past academic performance. Candidates will be shortlisted for presentation, followed by a personal interview for final selection. Final IMI Kolkata admission will be confirmed after verification of all the documents and the payment of the course fees.

IMI Kolkata PGDM Admission Process 2025
Candidates have to appear and secure a valid score in one of the following entrance exams CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT.
Apply online for admission to IMI Kolkata with the required documents.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the entrance exam score and academic performance.
Next, the candidate will receive a call for a personal interview.
The final selection will be decided based on the candidate's entrance exam score, academic performance in X, XII, and graduation, work experience, extracurricular, essay writing, and personal interview.
When shortlisted candidates will receive the confirmation of admission, then they have to pay the IMI Kolkata course fee and get their documents verified.

International Management Institute (IMI), Kolkata offers a full-time Fellow Programme in Management which is approved by AICTE. The FPM programme duration is 4 years.

IMI Kolkata FPM Admission Process 2025
- First, candidates must fill out the application form online in the official IMI Kolkata website.
- Candidates should submit a scanned copy of relevant documents along with the application form.
- Along with the application form the candidate must submit a research proposal abstract, containing at least 5000 words on the proposed area/ topic.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on the research proposal and evaluation of past academic performance, candidates will be shortlisted for presentation followed by a personal interview for final selection.
- The final selected candidates will receive a call then the candidate should submit all the documents and pay the IMI Kolkata course fees.

IMI Kolkata provides excellent corporate connections, enhancing placement and internship opportunities. The highest package for 2024 batch was 20.38 LPA and the average was 12.02 LPA. 100% placements are secured wherein prominent companies like Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, Coca-Cola, ICICI, etc. come to the campus for recruitment and also take in for SIPs and PPO. Internships are 100% with a good amount of stipend with 1lakh being the highest for the earlier batch and average 50,500.

Academics
The first month at IMI Kolkata is called the orientation month. Students are welcomed to the campus so that they can get accustomed with the rules and regulations and the lifestyle. Preparatory classes are also taken in order to make sure students are ready when the actual courses start.
College Infra
The B-School is equipped with all modern facilities, including modern classrooms, modern auditorium, and all other amenities. The hostel, which is adjacent to the B-School and inside campus, has different wings for girls and boys, with different room types so that students can choose their preference. The hostel follows strict rules and regulations to maintain security and to prevent mishaps. A doctor is also available in the campus, anyone can visit him without paying fees. Phycologists are also available to care for student's mental health.
Campus Life
A Day in Life of an IMI Kolkata PGDM Student : As a first year student, my typical day is filled with a number of exciting and challenges activities. My day starts around 8 AM with a half-hour gym session. After breakfast, classes begin at 9 AM and continue until 12:30 PM. Following a one-hour break to rejuvenate, have lunch, and chat with friends, classes resume around 1:30 PM. After back-to-back interactive and engaging brainstorming sessions with our esteemed faculty, we conclude the academic day.
In the Evening, after enjoying some delicious snacks and fun time with friends, students have a variety of options. Some prefer playing games like cricket, badminton, table tennis, or pool, while others head to their room for self study. Many stays in the lounge for group study or work with their respective clubs and committees. Most of us, being night owls, find our focus and productivity amidst the quiet and calm of the night, completing group assignments, preparing for exams, or fulfilling important duties of clubs and committees while the city sleeps.
One of the most enriching experiences has been the Design Thinking for Rural Innovation course. the initiative, in collaboration with the school of design thinking and Mission Samriddhi, provided us with an invaluable opportunity to engage directly with village panchayats and residents. The primary goal of our visit was to gain firsthand insights into the challenges faced by the rural community. This hands-on experience not only enriched our understanding but also allowed us to contribute meaningfully to the community.
Placements
The highest package for 2024 passouts was 20.38 LPA, and the average was 12.02 LPA. Companies like KPMG, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Amazon, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, LINC, Oyo, Coca-Cola, Eveready, RPSG, and many more comes to the campus for placement. The highest this year SIP stipend was 1 lakh, with the average being Rs 50,500.
Value For Money
These two years will be the most hectic but also most exciting years of your life. A top tier B-School like IMI Kolkata, always aims to make their students corporate ready, and to do that, they keep organizing activities like Live projects, guest lectures, Clubs and Committees, and so on. The USP of IMI Kolkata is the Local Business Accelerator and New venture development programs. Students can opt for any one of them. LBA program is where the student, has to implement their academic knowledge into real life experience by helping local small businesses. The New Venture Development is where IMI Provides a unique opportunity to implement one's innovative and entrepreneurial ideas. A Faculty mentor is assigned to each student is both LBA and NVD programs. An external mentor who himself is also an entrepreneur is also assigned to the NVD students who visits the campus weekly or monthly to help the students with their budding ideas.

There are certain activities which will keep you engaged and joyous many seminars and sports will take place you can go out with your friends gym as well there are facilities to play indoor games as well.
Placements
If you have the competency placements you can do great you need to develop yourself and prove to the interviewer you have the potent and can crack the interview in that manner itself be well behaved it will help.
Value For Money
Fees is justified as in Kolkata it is doing good and can improve as well you have the liberty as well be there do your hard work and you will come out with flying colour it will be good if you are flexible.
