JD Birla Institute Kolkata provides admission in various streams such as Commerce, Management, Sciences, Food Technology, Fashion Design and Textile and Interior design. JDBI Kolkata offers diploma and degree courses in various specialisations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

JD Birla UG admission is based on academic scores while PG courses consider scores of graduation, written test/ Interview and other criteria. The registration for all courses is carried out online, so the candidate must register on the official website, to apply for JDBI Kolkata admissions.

• After paying the application fee, the selection process will start.

• Candidates are shortlisted based on their class 12 scores, Science subject marks, Mathematics scores and formal training in performing or visual arts and /or sports and /or participation in the same at regional/ state/ national/international levels only.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the above-mentioned procedure. After successful verification of documents, candidates are granted admission. 

Female candidates who possess a good understanding of the English language are the only ones eligible for PG diploma admission.

• Candidates seeking admission to the PG Diploma in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition (PGDDAN) course must satisfy the eligibility criteria and fill out the application form.

• After paying the application fee of Rs 1500, the selection process for the PGD course will start.

• The selection criteria depend on the academic scores (Graduation scores) and require formal training in performing or visual arts and /or sports and /or participation in the same at regional/ state/ national/international levels only.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the above-mentioned procedure. After successful verification of documents, candidates are granted admission. 

The weightage of marks for admission to JD Birla Institute Kolkata PG course includes 60 marks for academic performance, 30 for entrance test/Personal Interview and 10 for formal training in performing or visual arts and /or sports and /or participation in the same at regional/ state/ national/international levels only.

• The candidate must meet the JDBI Kolkata PG eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• The candidate needs to register online on the JDBI Kolkata official website.

• He/ she needs to fill out the registration form carefully.

• The details filled in the application will stand to be final. Any discrepancies noted at the time of admission will lead to cancellation of admission. 

• Then the candidate must pay the registration fee.

• The registration will be considered successful after registration fee payment. 

• The candidate must take the printout of the registration form and fee payment receipt. 

• The admission will be based on academic merit and the applicant’s performance in relevant tests (Written test / Interview/ Entrance test).

• The candidate must refer to the official site regularly for merit list updates.
