•  The candidate must have cleared the Pre- PhD entrance exam (PET) conducted by the University of Mumbai. 

• Candidate also must have cleared the NET or SET exam or have obtained an M.Phil degree.

• If shortlisted, she/ he will be required to appear for an online interview.
