      Academics

I study Mechanical Engineering because it was my branch choice. Some teachers explain well, but many just read from chatgpt and old books which are outdated and don’t guide much. The syllabus covers basics, but new tech and hands-on topics are missing.

      College Infra

The labs and workshops are there, but most machines are old and not working well. Classrooms are fine, but sometimes crowded and noisy. It’s enough for basic work, but real practical learning is limited.

      Campus Life

The campus is big and green, which is nice. Best part is space for events and clubs; worst: some old labs and senior politics. Students can join clubs and competitions, but learning depends on your own work.

      Placements

Placements are okay, but getting a good job needs extra effort. Many seniors give wrong or exaggerated advice about companies. Some companies visit, but real high-paying offers are rare and seems we don't have any interships for 2nd years and 1st years which make me lost confidence in get placed

      Value For Money

Fees are high for what we get in labs and classes. It’s partly worth it if you do projects and study on your own. Many chances depend on your own effort, not the college support.

      B.Tech Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2025-01-01
      5

      Academics

I studied Mechanical Engineering because I m passionate about industrial solutions and water management systems. Most professors explain concepts clearly and give guidance for projects, though a few rely on theory slides. The curriculum is good for basics, but more industry-standard software and automation courses would be helpful.

      College Infra

The college has well-equipped Mechanical workshops with CNC machines and fluid labs that really helped me understand real-world processes. There are separate testing zones for engines and hydraulics, which made project work smoother. Even though some old machines need upgrades, overall it prepared me for practical industry tasks.

      Campus Life

I personally like lots of open areas to test machines and prototypes; worst: some older lab instruments could be modernized. Students can engage in technical fests, workshops, competitions, and club projects for hands-on learning.

      Placements

I personally I got my job at Zurn Elkay Water Solutions with 4.5 LPA, thanks to strong practical and projects experience.About half the batch was placed, while others found internships or off-campus opportunities.

      Value For Money

The course fees are reasonable considering workshops, labs, and industry exposure. I feel the investment was worth it because practical learning directly contributed to my placement. College events and mentoring sessions gave added value beyond just theory.

      Academics

I’m studying B.Tech in Electronics & Communication because I always wanted to build smart tools for farmers like my agri‑drone approved by DGC. Teaching quality is a mix — some teachers explain well and help with projects, while others mostly follow old notes. The curriculum covers basics, but it needs more modern subjects and hands‑on work for real world tech.

      College Infra

From my point of view, MLRITM has a solid physical campus with big classrooms, good labs, and a peaceful study environment. The workshops and library are useful, though some labs need more updated equipment for advanced research. Hostel and mess facilities are decent, and the campus supports events where I got to test and improve my agri-drone prototype.

      Campus Life

The campus is big and green with neat classrooms, labs, and space to test ideas like my agri‑drone prototype safely outdoors. The best part is the environment for events and clubs, but the worst is that some facilities like old lab equipment and weak Wi‑Fi can slow technical work. Students get to join technical clubs, cultural fests, competitions, and project showcases that help build skills beyond regular studies.

      Placements

Placement support at MLRITM is okay but not great; many students get offers, but top packages are rare and depend on personal preparation. Around half the batch got placed through campus drives, while others found internships or jobs on their own. My agri‑drone project, approved by DGC, helped me get attention from startups and tech recruiters, which improved my placement opportunities.

      Value For Money

The course fees are on the higher side compared to some colleges, but considering the campus, labs, and exposure, it feels reasonable overall. I feel I’m getting value for money, especially because I could work on my agri‑drone project and gain practical experience. Extra support from teachers and access to events and workshops also make the investment worthwhile.
