      Best colleges for homoeopathy

      Anonymous Posted on 19 Dec'23

      Academics

From books to syllabus, everything has to be found by the student here. Teachers are busy with their patients as they are medical officers working in the College) hospital. Our is affiliated to Delhi university. Syllabus is as per the board of homoeopathy.

      College Infra

College infrastructure has improved over the years. But till date the washrooms are old and dirty. This is one thing I want the College to improve on. No Hostel is provided within the college campus for UG students. But for MD students residence is there in the college campus itself.

      Campus Life

Only homeopathic UG and PG students found the crowd of the college. All batches have exams are different different times. So there is a batch of students that is always missing. Altogether, only 600 students approx make the whole college. Many events happen, we enjoy it completely.

      Placements

No, there is no campus placement provided here. No such drives have been in medical colleges. There are multiple job opportunities available after graduation, and these can be very easily found in secured by the students who graduate from a prestigious institution like (NHMC).

      Value For Money

In total, the annual fee is 1250 rupees. Apart from this, the only expense incurred is for the books we purchase and the examination fee. At the end with such little investment also we get tag of having graduated in homeopathy from one of the best institutes in India and that’s the biggest return.

Highest internship stipend paid to interns

      Academics

When you come to a government medical College, you shouldn’t expect teachers to teach everything in the syllabus. Most of the professors are doctors treating patients in the college hospital. So sometimes they can’t make it to the classes and take lectures so you need to study the rest of the syllabus on your own. But the patient exposure we get through clinicals and internship period makes us ready for jobs ahead.

      College Infra

Basic infrastructure and facilities were there when I started my graduation. Later on during Covid when our college became a Covid centre infrastructure improved. The whole college building became centralised air conditioned. Projects were installed in classrooms and furniture’s were replaced by new ones.

      Campus Life

Campus life is sometimes boring and sometimes exciting. Most of the year is dull, but when events like freshers, teachers day, 3 day fest, farewell et cetera have been the mood changes altogether and College becomes very lively.

      Placements

Government colleges don’t provide placement opportunities be it (NHMC) or any other government medical College. You can open up a clinic after graduation or pursue post graduation or give government exams for vacancies of medical officer and if not all these go for other RMO jobs. But you have to find all this by yourself.

      Value For Money

Our annual fee is the lowest. It is 1250 rupees. So definitely we got the worth for money. Nowhere in India Can you find a homeopathy College with such low fee also this stipend paid to interns at (NHMC) is the highest compared to other peer colleges.

Oldest and best college for homoeopathy

      Academics

Professors of this college are Medical officers working at college hospital so many at times they fail to take lectures due to heavy patient load. Only half of the syllabus is taught rest half has to be studied by students on their own.

      College Infra

Centralised air conditioning is provided throughout college with air purifiers as well fitted in classrooms. Projectors are also provided in classrooms. All these services are used and well maintained. There’s is no wifi though.

      Campus Life

This college gives you full freedom to be you. There are no strict implications as such. But it’s your responsibility to pass exams timely. The freedom here comes with responsibility. Seniors guide us throughout and are a great company.

      Placements

There are no placements. The reputation of the college adds weightage to our CVs while goibg for job interviews. Also the next step after graduation is going for MD and/or government jobs. And being from NHMC this is a easy task to you.

      Value For Money

The annual fee is ₹1250. This is the least fee currently be it any collge in India. So definitely what we get is worth the money. And stipend is also paid when we become interns. The exposure of patients we get is incomparable to other homoeopathic colleges.
