Contingency Grants
Contingency grants help the full-time participant to access the necessary equipment and facilities for research. The amount is reimbursed after verification of the submitted bills.
- Every full-time participant is eligible for a contingency grant of Rs. 25,000 per year for the first four years of the programme to cover research expenses such as the purchase of software, books, stationeries, hardware etc.
- One-time claim of up to Rs. 40,000 towards the laptop purchase during the first four years of the programme.
Conference Grants
- The FPM scholars are encouraged to participate in various national and international conferences. Upon completion of the comprehensive qualifying exam, FPM scholars are entitled to reimburse domestic & international conferences subject to a ceiling of Rs. 2,30,000 during the entire period of the programme.
