Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram provides a separate Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU) / placement cell department which provides better placement offers for the students. The primary purpose of the SCTCE Thiruvananthapuram placements is to support students in their career planning and to offer them with information that enables them to provide direction to their interests and objectives.

The main purpose of organising SCTCE Thiruvananthapuram Placements for all qualified final-year students is to collaborate with reputable organisations both domestically and internationally.

SCTCE Thiruvananthapuram Placements 2024

In 2022–2023, about 24 businesses paid the campus a visit. 252 offers were made to students in the 2023 batch by companies such as Tata Elxsi, Infosys, SADA India, IBM, Oracle, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, EY, UST Global, Byju's, Zifo Technologies and many others. A stipend of Rs. 15,000 was given to about 75 students who were doing their internship at Tata Elxsi as part of the Activate programme during their seventh and eighth semesters.

Almost 70% of students get placed each year. Main recruiters are from the IT sector, and scarcely few core placements.There are certain companies that would come for interview regularly which include TATA LEXI, L&T, etc.
