Stage II: Admission Process (GD-PI)
The stage II of TAPMI admission process consists of Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI).
*TAPMI makes suitable changes every year in the GD/PI process to select bright and deserving candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about changes for 2025-27 admission process, if any.

The final selection of the candidate is based on the following:

Admission Process – NRI / NRI Sponsored Eligibility Criteria
TAPMI also accepts applications from NRI/NRI Sponsored Candidates/ Foreign Nationals/ Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) category candidates for specific programs (only). (Please contact Admissions Office for more details):
Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
Shall mean the persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian passport, or who or either of his/her parents or any of his/her grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec2(b) of Citizenship Act 1955.
TAPMI Manipal Admission Process
T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal offers a wide range of programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. TAPMI Manipal courses include MBA, Ph.D and IPM programmes. Since the college has Double crown accreditation, there are set international standards the college follows. Multiple guest lectures are conducted throughout the term, which provides us with current and practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge. Most of the faculty are doctorates and are well-qualified.

As you have secured 85 percentile in cat 2022 so let me tell you will most probably clear the cut off criteria but it's difficult to tell about your pi because pi totally depends on your personal attributes . You need to be strong at your communication skills.
As far as your grade is concerned it's a pretty decent score and you would get the full points for your 10th and 12th results.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
