Academics
Teachers are very helpful and most of them had done MTech . Many teachers have excellent skills in teaching .The sessional exams may be considered easy but sometimes you may get end semesters exams hard . There is generally 2-3 sessional exams conducted per semester. As THDC-IHET is affiliated to UTU , their exam pattern is hard but still with preparations you can do good in exams.
College Infra
The college has not have fully equiped infrastructure like they had labs but they are not so good . There is a very good library here with a variety of books which is good. There is use of smartboard for 3&4 year students for study in this college. There are 2 Boy's hostel and 1 girl's hostel in the college which are not so maintained till this year but now they are working on it. I think there is a progress in these things due to the guidamce of our new Director.
Campus Life
The college campus of the institute is spread across twenty acres green land what makes this institute different from others and pollution free environment. Moreover , the institute is situated near Tehri lake which has become the most beautiful sight seen and a water adventure sports hub for travelers.
Placements
The placement cell is quite weak and due to mountain terrain many companies refrain from coming on campus placements but the faculty in charge of the placement cell may need to work hard to give more placement opportunities for the students.
Value For Money
If you want to pursue BTech degree which is cheaper than the private colleges where the fees is very high then you should go with this college . According to me , the fees they took and since it is state university which is not funded by Central government, so the lack of funds makes college less spend on its growth and development.

Academics
academic performance of the college is not very good, college had the equipment at its laboratory but lack in providing the proper level of education and all that we learn and practice didn't helped a lot in future point of view.
College Infra
The infrastructure is overall okay but it does not have and closed campus and as it is situated in near the forest area so their are always the chances of attack of the wild animals which is very dangerous.
Campus Life
environment point of view college was very good as it had a good nature but the campus life was boring as it does not organise any event in a proper manner and if it does then we get to know when the event get over
Placements
the quality of placement was not good in our time, and due to covid-19 it had become very bad the percentage of students that have placed through the college side was almost negligible and the package was also very bad.
Value For Money
Being a government college the fee was not too high, it cost me around 70k per year which is about the half of the fee of the other private colleges but the facilities were also not good which was not worthy.

Yes our college have all of required things available for students....... And i will recomended to join THDC-IHET for your great and secure future. And there are lots of scope for placement just do your own hard work and give full intense ..
College Infra
The college has excellent infrastructure, facilities and equipments with latest technology. There are large amont of computer labs with more than 60 computer systems in each of them. There is also a big library that includes all the necessary space and books to study.
Placements
I will required you that...... you have no another option that kind of college in this type of fee structure. And there are lots of apportunites for you as a part of dbuu community. And in this fee structure there are so valueable faculties are there such as. Nits, iits, and many other grand teachers.

mamximum placement of this college ?
The campus placements are not so good as not many companies visit the campus due to its rural outscapes hence very few students got placements. Almost 50% students get placed every year. But this college do provide internships in THDC dam which is one of the best biggest hydroelectric power

As you not given your jee exam don't worry we can help you.You can give your exam in any of the deemed to be university or you can join in any of them under management quota where you need to pay donation fee and also college fee.
