YIET Yamuna Nagar admission into BE/BTech is given based on inter se merit of JEE Main scores. In contrast, YIET Yamuna Nagar admission in ME/MTech is given based on the entrance exam conducted by the Institute or GATE scores. While MBA admission at YIET Yamuna Nagar is given based on inter-se-merit of the highest composite MAT score.

Lateral entry into BE/BTech is also available for diploma candidates.
