robotics engineer vs artificial intelligence and machine learning engineer which is better ???

Bhavesh gupta 10th Aug, 2021

hello Tamim arif

hope you are doing fine and great

As per your query , I would glad to inform you that  ML will be the best option though it is sub field of artificial intelligence but demand of ml engineer profile has increased a lot in recent years. For sure in future the pay scale of ml engineer will much high than software engineer developer . But you need to work very hard in ML and have to be clear with mathematics like probability ,statistics and have good command in data science and its algorithms

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :)

we are always available to help you out and guide you

Thankyou

can I do robotics engineer by doing b.sc in degree

Shalini Parimal 8th Jul, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Yes you can learn about Robotics Engineering after doing BSc in Robotics and Automation. Students who study robotics learn how to design and operate robotic and mechatronic systems. The degree helps students develop advanced integrated engineering knowledge, important for success in the robotics industry. They may also learn how to manage robotic control systems, understand mechanics, applied electronics and machinery. There are a lots of colleges and universities which offer a BSc in Robotics and are located all over the world.

Hope this helps.

All the best!!!

Hello There,

That's super great that you want to become a robotics engineer. In fact, this is going to be the most demanding branch in future. To become a robotics engineer you need to go for a bachelor in Robotics Engineering or BE in Robotics Engineering. After that, you can go for a Master's degree that will help you in gaining more in the robotics field also it will improve your standards when it comes to the job. There are many exams available for candidates who want to pursue Robotics Engineering like IIT JAM.

Institutes which offers this course are:

  • IIT Kanpur
  • IIT ALLAHABAD
  • IISC BANGALORE
  • BITS PILANI
  • JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY
  • MANIPAL INSTITUE OF TECHNOLOGY
  • AMITY UNIVERSITY

After the completion of the returned course, a student is eligible for taking job offers from on campus or off campus whichever opportunity is better.

Roles offered to the graduates are:

I am a B.Tech ME 2nd year student, I am a robotics enthusiast and want to a robotics engineer. I have interest in both ME and CSE. So, I wanted to ask, that from which among the two ME and CSE should I choose for my GATE exam preperation, as I want to do M.Tech in robotics.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 3rd Apr, 2021

hi,

see robotics is an interdisciplinary stream , you may become a robotics engineer by studying in cse stream or embedded stream or instrumentation stream. from this year candidates are eligible to apply for two gate paper, so you may apply gate from mechanical engineering or computer science engineering. however now it depends on you whether you can take preparation for two subjects simultaneously. however my suggestion is to take mechanical paper of gate, since you have studied it in b.tech and have better understanding.

hope it would help.

I want to become a robotics engineer in future. But I am not able to understand which course shall I opt for btech. Please guide me for this.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 17th Aug, 2020

hi,

see robotics engineering is now an emerging field in technology and with time to time the demand for robotics would grow. robotics engineering has concepts of electronics, some of the mechanical engineering and software engineering. however since this is an interdisciplinary stream you may go for robotics course in master program from any field of btech course. but I would recommend you to go for electronics and communication engineering since it would have wide concepts which needed for robotics engineering.

hope you may understand.
