NID DAT mains exam is the final stage of the admission process for design courses in NIDs campuses. The mains exam consists of a studio test and a personal interview round.

The mains exam will assess your drawing, modelling, and designing skills. Only the candidates who qualify in the prelims exam can appear in the mains exam. How can I prepare for NID DAT mains exam? NID studio test for BDes admissions includes drawing/sketching, hands-on model making, group discussions, presentations, and more. You should practice sketching and making models on a daily basis. However, you should not spend too much time on one model.

You should make a time frame and complete your model within that time. You should also observe your surroundings, read comics, and come up with new ideas.
