IIM Sambalpur Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur admissions are offered to MBA, EMBA and Ph.D programmes. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for IIM Sambalpur admission. IIM Sambalpur admission to MBA courses is done based on performance in CAT and Personal Interview (PI).

For Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur Ph.D admissions, students have to appear for CAT/GRE/GATE/GMAT/JRF (UGC/CSIR). However, for the IIM Sambalpur Executive MBA course, students who could not appear for CAT/GMAT/GRE, must appear for IIMSAT.

IIM Sambalpur offers two PG courses, MBA and MBA Executive. A total of 180 seats are available in the MBA course. IIM Sambalpur MBA fee structure is Rs 10.50 Lakhs and MBA Executive fee is Rs 9 Lakhs. 

IIM Sambalpur MBA Eligibility Criteria

• For admission to the IIM Sambalpur MBA programme, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria. 

• Eligible candidates must fill out the online application form.

• Applicants will then have to appear for the CAT and obtain a valid score.

• Candidates will be shortlisted and called for the Personal Appearance (PA) process.

• The PA process will include a round of Personal Interview (PI).

• A Final Selection List (FSL) is released based on the total score calculated using the CAT score, PA score and profile score including academic record and work experience will be created.

• The final step of admission includes verification of documents and payment of IIM Sambalpur fees.

• Students willing to take admission must fill out the online application form from the official website of the institute.

• Students must apply and appear for the CAT/GMAT/GRE.

• Candidates who do not appear for these exams must appear for IIMSAT.

• Candidates must secure valid marks in any of these exams.

• Shortlisted candidates are called for a round of personal interviews.

• The final selection shall be based on Test Score, Personal Interview, Academic Qualifications and Relevant Work Experience.

• Last step of admission involves payment of IIM Sambalpur fees and verification of documents.

Two courses are offered by the institute at the doctoral level i.e. Executive Ph.D and Ph.D Management. These courses are offered for 6 years.

IIM Sambalpur Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Eligible candidates must apply for admission by filling out the online application form.

• For IIM Sambalpur Ph.D admissions, students have to appear for CAT/GRE/GATE/GMAT/JRF (UGC/CSIR) for admission to this programme.

• Candidates must obtain a valid score in any of these exams.

• Candidates with valid marks are shortlisted. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a personal interview.

• Candidates are selected for admission based on entrance score, work experience, past academic record and performance in a personal interview and LOR.

• Candidates selected can confirm admission by paying fees and submitting documents. 

• Students seeking admission must meet the eligibility criteria for the course.

• Eligible students must apply for admission by filling out the online application form.

• Applicants will then have to appear for the IIM Sambalpur Research Aptitude Test (IIMSAT)/CAT or GRE/GATE/GMAT/JRF-UGC/CSIR for admission to this programme.

• Candidates who clear any of these exams are selected for a round of personal interviews. 

• The final selection of candidates is done based on a Test Score, Personal Interview, Academic Qualifications, Relevant work experience, Research Aptitude, Publications and Reference Letter/ Letter of Recommendation.

• The final step of admission includes verification of documents and payment of IIM Sambalpur fees.

Candidates can check the IIM CAP 2024 results. they can check the IIM Sambalpur results by entering the CAT registration number and their birth date. The offer list will be released on multiple dates. After the release of the IIM CAP 2024 results, selected candidates will receive the admission offer letter from the IIMs who participated in the CAP round. Interested candidates need to pay the acceptance fee before the scheduled date.
