IIM Visakhapatnam Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam admissions are provided to MBA, PGPEx, eMBA and Ph.D programmes. IIM Visakhapatnam admission to the Management and Business Administration programmes are done on the basis of CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF examination scores and past academic performance.

IIM Visakhapatnam admission to its PG programme is done in the course of PGP in Management and its specialisations in the field of Behavioural Sciences, Economics, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Quantitative Methods & Information Systems, Operations, Public Policy, and Strategy.

IIM Visakhapatnam MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Students have to appear and qualify the CAT examination.

• IIM Visakhapatnam will declare the CAT cutoff percentage.

• Students who meet the cutoff declared by IIM Visakhapatnam can fill out the application form on the official website of the institute.

• Further, on the basis of their CAT percentile students are called to appear for a Personal Interview. 

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the student's performance in the PI.

• Candidates are allocated the seats 25% based on their CAT percentile, 48% based on their PI and 48% based on their work experience, the rest is past academic performance.

• Complete the admission process by submitting documents and paying the IIM Visakhapatnam fees.

At the doctoral level IIM Visakhapatnam admissions are offered to a 4-year Ph.D programme. The Ph.D programme at IIM Visakhapatnam is offered in a full-time mode.

IIM Visakhapatnam Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must qualify the GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF/IIMB Test to be eligible for IIITA Doctorate admissions.

• Eligible candidates have to apply on the official website.

• Further, on the basis of their CAT percentile students are called to appear for a Personal Interview. 

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the student's performance in the PI.

• Candidates selected need to deposit course fees and submit the documents to confirm their admission. 

• 10th and 12th marksheets.

• Entrance exam scorecard (CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF(NET)).

• Birth certificate.

• ID proof.

• Statement of Purpose.

• Work Experience Letters/Payslips(If applicable)

• Passport size photographs.

• Migration/Transfer certificate.

Note: Candidates belonging to NC‐OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories need to produce a valid certificate(s) in support of their reservation category. No change in the category will be entertained after submitting the application.
