About 90 to 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the standard 19 courses covered throughout the MBBS programme will be answered in the NIMHANS exam. These MCQs would be similar to those asked in other postgraduate admission exams like the AIIMS and JIPMER.

NIMHANS offers PHD and M.Phil courses in psychology. It does not offer bachelor studies in the subject. For better opportunities, I would suggest you to take up B.Sc in psychology as, job prospects are better in B.Sc courses.
