A candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Admission Details
Admission of NIT Hamipur is based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). There is no need to apply separately to each NIT. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, comprising of the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Joint Admission Board (JAB) conduct and supervise the admission process of candidates to various NITs through centralized online counseling process.

It's a beautiful place with all the necessary infrastructure, we have a sports complex, a sports ground, OAT, hall, library, and student's park, it has buildings allocated to each department, all of them well equipped with the relevant stuff and is regularly maintained.

NIT Hamirpur boasts impressive infrastructure with modern facilities, conducive for academic and overall student experience. The campus features well-equipped labs, state-of-the-art classrooms, and recreational spaces, providing a conducive environment for holistic development.
According to me this college is best for CSE students.

College Infrastructure
According to me the infrastructure of the college is very good.... Greenery , pure environment (pollutant free ) ,and big play ground... And in hostel , hygiene is maintained.. And in hostel , there is a badminton court...
