National Institute of Technology Mizoram is, at present, functioning from a temporary campus in hired buildings at Chaltlang, Aizawl. The permanent campus of the NIT Mizoram is coming up at Lengpui, Aizawl, near the airport. At present, 7 buildings are on hire at Chaltlang and its vicinity for accommodating 1 Administrative block, 1 Library block, and 5 Academic blocks for conducting classes and laboratories. Scholarship schemes are important for students pursuing various course degrees, especially higher studies. The increasing cost of college and university fees is one of the reasons scholarships are required by many deserving students with academic potential and skills. Scholarship or financial support is needed and dependent on many students pursuing various course degrees. However, limited NIT Mizoram scholarship facilities are available for meritorious and economically poor students. Other National Institute of Technology scholarship schemes are available as per UGC/MHRD. Students are highly encouraged and assisted to apply for various state and central government scholarships.
Students can apply for various NIT Mizoram scholarships offered by the central and state government at the beginning of the academic year. Some of the scholarships that students can avail are given below:
State Schemes: Students from different states pursuing their course degree in NIT Mizoram can avail themselves of state schemes. The states that offer such scholarships include Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar, Manipur, Goa, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Meghalaya, Tripura, Uttarakhand, UT of Ladakh, Puducherry.
Central Sector Scholarship: Students can avail themselves of various central scholarship schemes through the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Labor and Employment, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Department of Higher Education, and more. Students from the various categories could avail of these scholarship schemes if they met the criteria that their annual family income must not be above Rs. 4.5 lakhs. UGC/AICTE Schemes: University Grants Commission (UGC) offers PG scholarships such as PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for the single girl child, PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders, PG Scholarship scheme for SC/ST students for pursuing professional courses. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers Pragati Scholarship for girl students, Saksham scholarship scheme for the specially-abled student.
Other NIT Mizoram Scholarships: Apart from the above scholarship schemes, there are other scholarships offered to students in NIT Mizoram. They include ONGC Scholarship for SC/ST students, SAIL scholarship for SC/ST students, NTPC Scholarship, Post-Matric Scholarship for Minority.

The Institute provide us with all the necessities infrastructure, equipments and facilities which can enhance our stay and academic. The Institute has hostels, proper mess, sports facilities, classrooms which can accommodate more than 70 students with proper seats. The hostel and mess are clean and hygienic. All the equipments are well maintained and available for each students.

College Infrastructure
Wi-Fi is poor in hostel, we have to buy our own personal connection most commonly airtel extreme. Labs are not that well-equipped. The library is well stocked but sometimes we face problems in availability of some books. The quality of food has improved over time. We are going to leave block 2 soon as the tenure is about to expire. The other blocks like block is the best one but still the buildings are far off.

College Infrastructure
I will be honest, equipment are limited and facilities are very less. There is no smartboards in classroom. Wifi is provided in every block and library as well. In labs there are limited instruments. Equipment which are there is well maintained and used regularly. In terms of place, aizawl is very clean and beaultliful. Classrooms and washrooms are cleaned daily. Food is ok you can survive in terms of taste. Hygiene is maintained properly.

First of all why are you going to lower nits like that of the north east you should try your luck in mnnit mnit or nits of the south but coming to your question definitely nit jaipur nagpur are far better than nits of northeast you should not go there
