Course	Duration	Eligibility Criteria
BAMS	5.5 years	Candidates must have completed class 12 with science or equivalent examination and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. For international students, their qualification should be considered equivalent and approved by the university.
BHMS	5.5 years	Candidates must have completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects or equivalent examination and have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates must have reached the age of 17 years by December 31 in the year they seek admission to the first year of the course. Candidates who are blind (including colour blindness), deaf and/or dumb are not eligible.
BUMS	5.5 years
PhD	6 years	Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Ayurveda, unani, Homeopathy, Yoga, Siddha, Biosciences or Sanskrit with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PH/ Visually Handicapped candidates). Candidates who are in the final year of their postgraduate program can also apply. If a regular teaching faculty member of the University or its affiliated college seeks to pursue a PhD degree, they must adhere to the University/ State Government rules which mandate a minimum one-year service period before applying for the program.
MD/MS	3 years	Candidates must have completed BAMS program from an Ayurvedic College recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. Candidates must be registered with either a State or Central Council of Indian Medicine. Candidates must have completed a rotatory compulsory internship.
