      Academics

The curriculum follows standard medical syllabus and is mostly updated. Teaching focuses more on basics and clinical learning. Case discussions and hospital postings help connect theory with practice. Recent topics are explained mainly through seminars and self-study.

      College Infra

infrastructure works for study and hospital practice, enough for most students, though some things can improve in future.Library has books, space small, internet slow sometimes. Hospital is very helpful, we go daily, see patients, learn practical things

      Campus Life

Campus life is mostly academic and hospital focused. Students spend most time in classes and clinical postings. Cultural programs and small events happen most of the times we enjoy a lot , but campus remains quiet and study oriented.

      Placements

Placements are mainly in the form of internships and further studies. Most students continue with compulsory internship after course. Some get hospital roles through personal effort and guidance from faculty. Formal campus placements are limited.

      Value For Money

The fees are high but acceptable for a private medical college. Clinical exposure through the attached hospital adds real value. Teaching quality and practical learning make the cost reasonable for most students.

      Academics

Right now, students are studying core subjects like anatomy and physiology in the early phase, moving gradually into clinical postings. There’s a balance between lectures, practical lab work, and hospital rounds, which helps connect academic learning with real patient care. Some sessions include current medical research trends and public health issues, but deeper updates often depend on individual teachers.the curriculum feels relevant and prepares students for future medical challenges, even if very new developments come through extra reading or workshops rather than the core syllabus.

      College Infra

The attached teaching hospital is a major advantage, offering regular exposure to wards and outpatient departments. Students get to observe real cases from early stages. Facilities like drinking water, washrooms, and food services are adequate. Hostels and common areas are manageable but can improve. the infrastructure supports learning and clinical training effectively.

      Campus Life

In terms of activities, most students spend time in study groups, case discussions, and clinical practice, especially as exams draw near. There are a few cultural and health-awareness events organized by student committees, and internal competitions for quizzes or presentations, which help break the routine. Sports options are basic but available — a ground for cricket and volleyball where some students gather after hours. campus life centers on academics with occasional social events, so students who enjoy a focused medical environment will find it fitting, while those seeking vibrant extracurricular culture may feel it quieter than other colleges.

      Placements

There isn’t a firm percentage published for “placements” like in engineering colleges, but almost every final-year student went straight into their internship posting, which is a key step in medical careers. A small number pursued postgraduate entrance preparation or joined healthcare centers on short contracts. Formal placement support from the college was limited, so students relied on faculty guidance, hospital contacts, and their own efforts to secure roles after internship. Overall, the focus stays on training and internships rather than corporate job placements.

      Value For Money

The annual fee for the medical course at Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad is substantial, as expected for a private medical college. It includes tuition, lab charges, and other academic fees, but does not fully cover living expenses like hostel, food, and study materials. Many students also spend extra on reference books, coaching for competitive exams, and travel for clinical postings, which adds to the yearly cost.
