      BPMT - Batch of 2024-01-01
      3.8

      Academics

Teachers are experienced and focus on both theory and hands-on training. The BPMT course follows MUHS syllabus with regular exams every few months. Clinical postings at the hospital give real exposure to paramedical tech. Faculty is helpful and encourages questions. Pass rate is good if you study hard. It's one of the better places in Maharashtra for this field.

      College Infra

The college has decent buildings and labs for BPMT students. Classrooms come with projectors and AC in some. The library is big with lots of books on paramedical topics. Being attached to Sassoon Hospital helps with practical work. Hostels are okay but old, canteen food is average. Sports ground is there but not top-notch. Overall, it's functional for learning but could use some updates.

      Campus Life

Life here is busy with classes and hospital duties. There are cultural events and festivals throughout the year. Students join clubs for sports and research. The campus is in central Pune so easy to go out. Mix of study and fun, with friends from different batches. It's enriching but demanding.

      Placements

No companies come for direct jobs in BPMT. But you get a one-year internship at Sassoon Hospital which is great for experience. Many serve a bond after that. This helps in finding work later in hospitals or labs. Around 20k starting salary as technician. It's more about building skills than immediate placement.

      Value For Money

As a government college, fees are low at about 43,000 per year for BPMT. You get quality education and hospital access without spending much. Compared to private colleges, it's a steal. The three-year course prepares you well for the job market. Definitely worth it for students from average families.

Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and experienced. The teaching is very good. They explain us practically so that we don't face difficulties in future. Teaching is done in lecture halls. They take us to the hospitals and make us communicate with the patients.

      College Infra

The college has well-maintained classrooms. A huge and nice library is available at a silent place, with many books to read. Labs are well equipped with all the required equipment and materials to study. Quality of classrooms is good. Food available in the canteen is healthy.

      Placements

There are no placements as this is a medical college. The one year compulsory internship can be completed in Sassoon hospital. The internship at Sassoon is not very heavy. Externship can be availed with ease. A large number of student end up getting PG seats easily.
