Government Engineering College Modasa admission to M.E programmes based on the entrance exam- PGCET conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Direct admission to the M.E programme is offered to candidates who have a valid GATE score. Furthermore, candidates have to participate in the counselling round. Government Engineering College offers seven B.E programmes. The B.E programmes are offered under the following specialisations- Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. The duration of the B.E programme is 4 years.

Candidates have to appear for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), which is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) or JEE Main.
Candidates need to register for counselling conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
Further, a separate merit list for JEE Main students will also be released.

The GEC Modasa offers admission to two M.E programmes. The M.E programmes are offered in Computer Science and Engineering and Transportation Engineering specialisations. The course duration of the M.E programme is 2 years.

Candidates have to apply and appear for the entrance examination, PGCET conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPE) conducts the exam in an offline mode.
Students have to register and apply online at the official website of ACPC for the counselling of PGCET.
Candidates who have a valid GATE score are eligible for direct admission.
The seats are allotted to the candidates as per the counselling rounds.
The merit list is prepared based on the PGCET scores and the preference given by them for the courses and college.
Final admission is offered after verification of documents and course fee payment.
