PIET is a premiere engineering college founded in 2009 situated in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India.The following paragraphs are devoted to the description of the college. Kosamghat based & Co-educational institute has been continuously striving for the improvement of technical education for more than one decade. Much of the engineering training is done at the PIET is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute comprises 16 dedicated faculties to provide education for future engineers across domains.

Prakash Institute of Engineering and Technology provides include the following with regard to the needs of students. To facilitate out-of-town students the campus has separate hostels for boys and girls which execute classy living conditions. A well equipped library is a treasure trove of knowledge, and provides additional materials where learning is deficient. The institute also focuses a lot on a technological development to enhance students IT equipment for exposure and efficiency with current industry tools and innovations.

The courses that the institute teaches are all Covered in engineering, and all the engineering programmes that the institute provides are full B.Tech four-year, full-time programmes. PIET currently offers six unique B.Tech programmes, for which the college offers 60 admissions, therefore attaining physical capacity of 360 students. These programmes comprises of major engineering ;- B.Tech Civil Engineering, Mechanical and B.Tech Information Technology etc. fields in order to meet the variety of students’ interest and market needs.
