Q: Can final-year students apply for PG courses?

In general, you cannot get direct admission to VIT for b.tech without an entrance exam, as VITEEE is compulsory. However, there are exclusive direct admissions for NRI/International students as well as under certain Management Quota provisions based on high Class 12 board marks.

Q: Are there scholarships available at VVIT?

VVIT provides scholarships, including merit-based remission for students who have got very good marks in 10+2 (generally more than 75%). Besides that, the institute also supports Government scholarship schemes (SSP, NSP) for SC/ST, OBC, and minority category students based on their family income and caste.

There is no maximum age restriction for the admission to VVIT Bangalore. Nevertheless, if one wishes to get admission at VIT Bangalore, the age condition for VITEEE 2026 stipulates that the candidate should be born on or after July 1, 2004.

In addition to that, the candidate is required to obtain at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) taken together in the three subjects Physics, Mathematics, and one optional technical subject.
