    For getting Merit seat in MBBS or BDS you have to write NEET exam.

    Around 14 lahk candidates appear for this exam annually and around 7 lakh get admitted in various parts of India.

    Last year the cutoff marks range was 701-134..

    Minimum 50% are required for general category for NEET eligibility and 45% for SC/ST.
