The atmosphere is highly competitive there but the performance of the campus in terms of coding and placement for CSE is way better. On the other hand, if you want to explore other fields of engineering you should go for NIT-T where you'll be exposed to various facets of engineering in the first year. IIIT-H is performs at par with IITs in the CSE department.

There's no reservation of JNV students in IIIT, Hyderabad, however IIIT Hyderabad is offering direct admission in B.Tech ECE & B.Tech CSE courses without the requirement of JEE Main percentile or score. The admission is offered through IIIT Hyderabad’s Special Channel of Admission (SPEC). Candidates are eligible if they have passed 12th class or equivalent by July 2022 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry and belong to one of the following categories:

1. Qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE for girls.

2. Studied at a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) at least for the last 2 years (11th and 12th).

3. Currently enrolled in 4th Semester of an integrated, six-year, 12th + B.Tech programme (after the 10th class).

To get admission into Indian Institute of Information Technology, there are three possible ways:

1. Give JEE Main and get a competing rank, usually under 1000 as the competition for IIITH through JEE Main is intense.

2. Give UGEEE, which IIIT Hyderabad conducts itself, and after clearing it give an interview and perform well in it. Usually the interviews are tougher than UGEEE itself.

3. Be a person who has made his/her name or represented India in a big Olympiad like IOI as IIITH gives direct admission to these students.

yes, you can get admission in IIIT hyderabad through jee mains and gate exam

See, if you want to get admission in the reputed IIIT Hyderabad, there are three ways:

1. The JEE Main way: IIIT Hyderabad accepts JEE Main score and also grants admission on the basis of it. The cut-off of IIITH through JEE Main is quite high (around 1000 rank for 5 year CSE).

2. UGEEE: There is a separate exam which IIITH conducts to give admission. You can qualify this exam and get admission after giving an interview if invited.

3. Olympiad Mode: IIITH gives admission to those who have taken part in reputed Olympiads like IOI. So, if you have taken part in them, you may apply here.

There are various ways to get into IIIT Hyderabad. They are:
1. Through JEE Mains
2. Through entrance exam conducted by IIIT.
You can apply for the Undergraduate programs through these ways. Given your score in JEE Mains 2021, it is highly unlikely that you may secure a seat in IIIT Hyderabad. You can again try in 2023 to get a better score and improve your chances at securing a seat. The candidates hopeful of securing a seat in IIIT Hyderabad through JEE Mains should aim to score a percentile above 99. There are limited seats available in IIIT for every subject and there are a lot of applications coming in every year and hence the filtering is done very strictly. Good luck.

To get admission in IIIT Hyderabad , for B.Tech admission .. there are  four channels through which you will get admission :

• JEE Main Channel

1. Should satisfy the criteria for JEE MAIN exam
2. Should have appeared and gained the required qualified marks

• DASA Channel

1. Should qualify 12th exam with Physics chemistry and Math
2. Required percentage 60%.

• NTSE-KVPY/Olympiad Channel

1. NTSE-KVPY:  Should pass 12th qualifying exam  and also qualified (i) NTSE, (OR) (ii) KVPY.
2. Olympiads: Should pass 12th exam and selected for training in Science and Linguistics to represent India in International Olympiads.

• SPEC Channel

1. Need to gain some extraordinary talent or studying in a six year integrated Class XII + four year undergraduate programme .

UGEE 2022 conducted by IIITH have two sections first one is SUPR ( subject proficiency test ) and the other one is REAP ( research aptitude test ).

And here's your answer there is no negative marking in first section but there  is negative marking in the second section.

There is no information available about how much marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

As per your query I would like to inform you that if you wish to take admission in Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Hyderabad, JEE - Mains will not be enough you need to appear for JEE - Advanced to secure your seat in IIT - Hyderabad. The closing cutoff ranges roughly from 4000 to 6000 for males and upto 8000 to 9000 for males.

Admission for the batch 2022 will start soon after the successfully completion of jee mains because iiit Hyderabad give admission on jee mains too , first attempt of jee will be in June from 20 to 29 ,and second attempt will be conducted of jee mains from 20 July to 29 July ,and then all admission for btech in various courses will be started , the application form for first attempt has filled , and for second attempt ,starting very soon .
