The merit criteria hold for students entering their bachelor's degree in engineering and design through high rank in JEE and UCEED and senior students are considered through their ranking or academic performance. The means criterion puts parental income as the central criterion and the maximum allowed gross income is Rs. 5 lakh. This scholarship requires the submission of an income certificate issued by a government revenue officer such as a tehsildar. If not, the income tax return of the parents needs to be submitted for consideration. Students must perform satisfactorily to benefit themselves in this scholarship.
