The NIT Jamshedpur is one of the oldest NIT in India and has a great academic records with a lot of extra curricular activities for the students and a student friendly environment and also the Electrical branch is one of the oldest and quite demanding branch in India hence

Both the colleges are good. But if you want to compare then I would recommend you to go for NIT JAMSEDHPUR Electrical Engineering. The reason behind this is provided below:

• Infrastructurally both the institutes are good but NIT JAMSEDHPUR have a better maintained lab and library.
• The faculties in both

From Placement, Campus Life Aspect : NIT Jamshedpur

From Faculty, Research, Infrastructure Aspect : SVNIT Surat

Both are good NITs, I would suggest you to choose the One at your Vicinity. If Placement is your Only Concern, I believe NIT Jamshedpur is the better of two, with nearly 90-100% Placements

See both of those colleges are very good. But if you want me to choose any of them I can tell about Birla institute of technology mesra. Which is also have a good rank and in a popularity enough. Computer science and engineering department is very good here.

I think your first should be IIIT Lucknow because it has better coding culture and placement. It ranks higher than NIT.

Then your second Choice should be NIT Jalandhar

- NIT jamshedpur

- IIIT Gwalior

Then others....

In my opinion you should go for NIT Jamshedpur Mettalurgy. It has better placements in compare to MANIT Bhopal. Infrastructure, Faculty are good in both the colleges.
