Colleges select students based upon their Jee mains rank. Kindly share the exact rank of your daughter Sir/Ma'am.
Your daughter will have a rank between 15k to 32 k if we go by the predictions of last year. NIT warangal in 2021 closed its admission for btech in biotech at a rank of 14 k and for civil engineering at a rank of 12 k after 6 rounds(for obc non creamy layer),excluding the special rounds. So,your daughter has a tough chance of getting into NIT warangal but may apply for IIITS,NITs and other private engineering colleges. Some of these are-
NIT Agartala
Lovely Professional University
NIT Meghalaya
IIIT Allahabad
NIT Sikkim
NIT Manipur
NIT Goa
KIIT University
The Oxford College of Engineering

Hello Student,
The previous year OR-CR For NIT Warangal for CSE for EWS-PWD Home State category is as follows:
Based on your rank you should opt for it as home state category.
But Don't forget to apply for other NITs Colleges.
Hope this information helps you.
Best Wishes
Dear Aspirant,
NIT Warangal is one of the best NITs.
Mechanical engineering is a core engineering branch and if you are passionate about it, it's a really good option to choose
1. Placements - The placement opportunities are really good. About 90 percentage. Core companies like Mahindra, Reliance, Bajaj give good chances to students. You can also get good jobs in IT sector if you are equipped enough for it.
2. Campus - The campus is relatively smaller than other NITs yet the sports facilities, library, wifi facilities etc. A lot of clubs are available and will give you a good taste of campus life. There has been concerns that professors do a lot of moral policing and the freedom for girls is less. There is a good auditorium for screening movies and you'll get to cycle to reach places around the campus.
Hope this helps.
Please check the link below for more information about NIT Warangal.
DearPink,
According to me, NIT Warangal is far better than MNNIT Allahabad in all respects. It is far better in terms termslacement, infrastructure, industrial belt, research facility, NIRF, and Ranking, Both of them are good.
Hope this was helpful
Hey!
What you take should solely depend on your interests and goals. All the options you have mentioned are excellent. However if you’re looking for the best place with regard to discipline, academics and the best placement then according to the research you should definitely go for IIIT Lucknow.
The fees, courses, campus, academics, extracurriculars, placements, etc are all excellent there.
Feel free to ask more questions and queries.
Dear Aspirant,
Being a metallurgical student I would suggest going with Metallurgy Branch if you want free time in your college so that you can get more opportunities to learn and inculcate new skills. In civil you have to do a lot of projects and study more in comparison to metallurgy.
Hope this was helpful.
Greetings!
Firstly congratulations! you have got really good colleges! Now coming to comparison
Now there are some factors you need to consider, first and foremost is if you are getting better branch in any of these two, just go for it, no need to see further comparison at all, now considering you have same branches in both let's proceed forward.
The final decision has to be taken by you, I would leave you with pros and cons, and believe me there isn't much difference in both of them, the main differences mainly form the fact that one is state funded and other is national funded.
Now Jadavpur has some really good advantages, firstly it is way cheaper than any NIT/IIT you can almost say that four year degree in Jadavpur is for free! Secondly Jadavpur is an older university when compared to NIT Warangal, in fact it is one of the oldest ones in India!
Research and Placements for both are going to be almost same.
But Enough of pros of Jadavpur, let's come to cons, firstly Jadavpur has very bad infrastructure when compared to NIT warangal, so if you were coming for sky high buildings with best cleanliness, I would suggest you to keep your expectations a bit low. Secondly in recent years Jadavpur is suffering from funding problems, and it is not hidden from anyone, now I am not saying that it is going to collapse or something but yes that is a factor to consider.
Overall I would say if you want to save money and have complete freedom in life go for Jadavpur, however if you want to enjoy your college life and be part of clubs and chapters than I would suggest NIT warangle, that is the only call you have to make, for placements you can be rest assured that you aren't going to regret any of these two
Dear aspirant !
Hope you are doing well !!
Definitely I will give preference to nit Warangal civil. It is the best among best .
Infrastructure and campus of NITW are one of the best in India. The academic building is well-facilitated and well-constructed. Hostels are very good in infrastructure and with a proper facility, and it is the largest hostel in India. This college has the best civil engineering department among all NITs .
Thanking you
The college boasts a well-structured campus with excellent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with the latest teaching aids. The labs are well-maintained, supporting hands-on learning. The library is extensive and well-organized. The sports facilities are commendable.
The infrastructure of the college is average. However, environmental planning department has good infrastructure. Classes are air-conditioned with comfortable seats and Wi-Fi. The canteen food is affordable and good. The hostel rooms are developed to accommodate one student per room. However, due to lack of rooms usually, 2 people share the room (it's on a consent basis, if the room is allotted to you, then it's your wish to give consent and accommodate other classmates and no discount on fees will be given for consent).
The college has a great infrastructure and facilites for the students including smart classrooms, gymnasium and multi sports arena for the students. The classrooms are completely smart equipped with smart boards and microphones for a great learning experience. The Wi-Fi is also good and library provides many resources helpful in the MBA journey. The food and living hygiene is maintained at its best.
