Osmania University was founded by Nawab Osman Ali Khan, the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad. The university was established in 1918. There are almost 500 colleges (both government and private) affiliated with Osmania University that offer various technical and non-technical courses.

Students at Osmania University get financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Osmania University scholarships are Telangana Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare, Economically Poor People Scholarship (EPP). Osmania university has a large and historic campus, one of the largest campuses in India. Buildings are designed in old historical heritage places. But some of the classrooms are outdated as they do not match modern standards.

Osmania University has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. the architecture will give you a royal feeling as it was established by the Hyderabad nizam. The classes are well equipped, we have lab facilities, wifi, sports center and many more. the campus is very vast. Its really nice.
