The Fundamentals Institute of Teachers Training, Dakshin Dinajpur, founded in 2016, is an institution for future teachers. This co-educational college, which falls under the state university system, intends to provide special education in teacher education. The institute holds affiliation with the National Council for Teacher Education and strives to maintain standards in pre-service teacher education in alignment with the national policy on education. This institution is teacher education based, having a compact campus of 0.75 acres with 198 students and 33 teachers.
